Convertible cribs are the most popular form of baby crib that is around today as they are perfect for coping with an ever growing baby. Depending on just how convertible it is, your child can be using it from birth until well into childhood.

Drop-side cribs have been very common for a number of years but anticipated changes to safety regulations mean that stationary (fixed side) cribs are now the most widely available. From June 2011 the sale or manufacture of drop-side cots and cribs will be banned in the US.
